A Note

I think I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't mention this point. If you were Western European or American, Germany could be relied upon to follow the Geneva convention in relation to treatment of it's POWs. If you had the unfortunate circumstance of being a Soviet POW, treatment was much more severe. There are parts of WWII I will never touch on in ROAR, as at best they would be in the background, and those stories and history deserve more than just that in the context of the broader war. But I do feel that it's important to note the difference between "Spies, Partisans, and Troublemakers" and Peter's (Pants) unfortunate circumstances of just being a soldier on the wrong front.
